G8 Summit, British Columbia (2010)
The 2010 G8 Summit was an annual forum of leaders from around the globe. This occurred in mid 2010 after the incident with the neutrinos from the solar flare heating up the Earth's core and for letting the world come to an end.
US President Thomas Wilson announced with the other national leaders from around the world (the Russian President, the German Councillor, the Italian Prime Minister and the French Prime Minister) that he was made aware of a situation so devastating from someone that informed him six months ago in 2009, but at first he refused to believe it. But through the concerted efforts of the brightest scientist, the President announced: "We have confirmed its validity. The world...as we know it....will soon come to an end."
After the Summit, President Wilson and the other national leaders began a top-secret project to ensure that humanity survives, which caused the construction of the Arks to begin.
