Template:ParisParis (French pronunciation: Paree) was the capital and most populous city of France. Paris has been one of the world's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, gastronomy, and science. For its leading role in the arts and sciences, as well as its very early system of street lighting, in the 19th century it became known as "the City of Light". Like London, prior to the Second World War, it was also sometimes called the capital of the world.

History[]

21st Century[]

In 2011, the Louvre was shown with its Director Roland Picard working with art expert and U.S. First Daughter Laura Wilson, where they stored valuable artworks such as Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and other artifacts housed in the museum away in a bunker in Switzerland for safekeeping until it was time to board the Arks, wherein they can also move them to the vessels. Decoys and replicas were then used in their places.

After this work, Picard was killed in a car bomb (presumably by government agents) in the same tunnel that Princess Diana died in 1997. The assassination was publicized as a car accident.

When the 2012 Apocalypse began, Paris was likely destroyed by massive earthquakes and was submerged underwater when the Worldwide Flooding swept away the ruins of the city. Like the Elffiel Tower, like the Louvre Museum, they were all destroyed.
